The Land of Valdevez and its people take root in the distant time. Perched by the poetic Lima, furrowed in half, and end to end, by the idyllic Vez that gives it its name, watered in many directions by jumping and crystalline brooks, capriciously shaped by nature, sometimes in mountains of steep clipping Soajo and Peneda and ecstatic gazebos, sometimes on lazy slopes where the wine mourns and sleepy várzeas where bread grows.
